Indo German Industries, also shortly known as IGI, is in the manufacturing and sales of diesel spares used in locomotives, marine and power sector. The brand Indo German Industries, Indo German Industries, offers an extensive range of locomotive products for the rail industry.

Indo German Industries traces its roots to the IG-Industries, founded in 1972. In the year 1974, Manohar T Bhojwani formed Indo German Industries on January 1.

In 1985, Indo German Industries started manufacturing spares for Indian railway locomotive – WDS4B (MAK) six cylinder engines indigenously against import substitute. Indo German Industries manufactured cylinder liner, piston, piston rings, etc. for the locomotive and supplied to Chittaranjan Locomotive works and zonal railways.

In 1990 Manohar T Bhojwani’ s both sons joined Indo German Industries Company to strengthen it further and thus Indo German Industries has turned into a partnership company. In 2001 Indo German Industries developed spares for locomotive WDM-2, WDM-4 (ALCO). Indo German Industries manufactured cylinder liner, liner sleeve, piston rings and supplied to Diesel Locomotive Works and zonal railways. In 2012, Indo German Industries expanded its manufacturing facilities to make it possible to have maximum facilities under one roof exclusively for piston rings.

Moreover, in order to be in pace with the changing era, we assure to improve upon our thoughts, activities and quality through continual improvement.

We supply our products in Domestic market and Export it to many countries and continuously putting our efforts to reach to the rising demands of many other markets be it domestic or international.

Indo German Industries headquarters and parts manufacturing operations are physically located in Rajkot, Gujarat. Indo German Industries cylinder liner, piston, liner sleeve operations are located in Mavdi plot, Rajkot, Gujarat as unit I. Indo German Industries piston rings operations are located in Shapar-Veraval, Rajkot, Gujarat as unit II
