The brand Indo German Industries, Indo German Industries, offers an extensive range of locomotive products for the rail industry.\n\nIndo German Industries traces its roots to the IG-Industries, founded in 1972. In the year 1974, Manohar T Bhojwani formed Indo German Industries on January 1.\n\nIn 1985, Indo German Industries started manufacturing spares for Indian railway locomotive \u2013 WDS4B (MAK) six cylinder engines indigenously against import substitute. Indo German Industries manufactured cylinder liner, piston, piston rings, etc. for the locomotive and supplied to Chittaranjan Locomotive works and zonal railways.\n\nIn 1990 Manohar T Bhojwani\u2019 s both sons joined Indo German Industries Company to strengthen it further and thus Indo German Industries has turned into a partnership company. In 2001 Indo German Industries developed spares for locomotive WDM-2, WDM-4 (ALCO). Indo German Industries manufactured cylinder liner, liner sleeve, piston rings and supplied to Diesel Locomotive Works and zonal railways.
