InnoRail 2018 in its third edition, is an initiative of CII in association with Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO) to provide an opportunity for all stakeholders of the railways sector to come under one roof for effective business networking with key collaborators from across the globe. The first edition took place in December,2014 and the second one in December 2016.

The last edition witnessed attendance of 12,000+ visitors and attracted participation from over 200 companies from 15 countries – Austria, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, UK and USA, covering an area of over 15000 sqmtrs. Japan as partner country, brought the largest ever Japanese delegation from the Rail Transportation sector with over 250 businessmen and 40 companies.

On one hand this exhibition will be an ideal platform for the Industry to display latest technological advancements, innovations, related products and technical services, while on the other hand it will provide a platform to the Indian Railway’s units to share their future requirements, visions and innovations. InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for traffic technology, which takes place every two years in Berlin. Divided into the five exhibition segments Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 41 halls of the Berlin Exhibition Center. The InnoTrans Convention , the event’s top-notch supporting program, complements the show.

A unique feature is the InnoTrans track and outdoor area with 3,500 meters of track on which everything from tank wagons to high-speed trains is represented.

The Bus Display,  introduced in 2016, offers vehicle manufacturers the opportunity to present buses in the static display and on the directly connected demonstration course.
